Why We Do This
What it cannot do is know that he proposed to her in the rain, or that her grandmother made this exact pie every Christmas.
We're one family in northern Indiana who have spent our whole lives feeding people — and we noticed something. Around here you can find a good meal. What you cannot find is an evening: a night designed entirely around two people, where every candle and every course was chosen because of who is sitting there.
So we made it. You tell us a little about the two of you. We take care of the other hundred decisions, and you walk into something that feels like it could only ever have been yours.
About Us
Not a staff — a family. Mom, two sisters, and a sister-in-law. When you book an evening, these are the hands it passes through, and no one else's.

Sister
Twenty years in restaurants and the owner of her own coffee shop. She runs the room, and she'll be the one who greets you at the door and remembers what you told her weeks ago.

The one it all comes from
Two decades of cooking for everyone who ever walked through her door. If a dish on your menu tastes like someone's been making it their whole life, it's because she has.

Sister
Cooks alongside her mother and sister, and has the eye that decides how a plate — and a whole table — should look before anyone sits down.

Sister-in-law
Event planning at Notre Dame, and the hand behind every sign we letter for you. She's the reason the evening looks the way it does.
How It Works
Send us the evening you have in mind. We'll confirm within a day whether we can hold it.
Fifteen minutes. What you're celebrating, what she loves, anything we should avoid.
Menu, table, flowers, music, the sign with your names. You hear nothing until it's ready.
Walk in at seven. Everything is done. Leave with photographs and a very good night.
May – October
Garden dinners under open sky, timed so you're seated as the light turns.
November – April
Nicole's shop, closed to everyone but you. Small, warm, and entirely private.
Year round
Have somewhere in mind? We've hosted in family homes before. Ask us.
Check a Date
Tell us roughly what you're thinking. We answer every message ourselves, usually the same day.
Evenings still open
We'll be in touch within a day to talk through your evening.
